The Book Roadie

These hand-bound blank books are great for sketching or for writing, and use a 70lb text paper that takes both ink (including fountain pens!) and pencil beautifully.

Hand-bound means I fold paper into signatures, sew the signatures into text blocks, consolidate the text blocks with wheat paste, and case them in with beautiful bookcloth and decorative paper over bookboard for a sturdy hardcover binding. It's a painstaking process, and the results are both beautiful and long-lasting. The covers will show wear and tear over time, but those pages won't come loose.

Photos don't do these babies justice. If you're in the PNW, come see my booth at an event to check them out in person. See my website for upcoming dates.
